If You’re Not Using AI Yet… You’re Already Behind

July 01, 20252 min read

Alright, let’s talk AI. Not the “robots are taking over the world” kind of AI — the kind that’s already here, already changing the way people run businesses, and quietly making life a whole lot easier if you’re paying attention.

AI

If you’re not using AI right now — in your business, in your personal life, even just to organize your week — you’re missing the boat. And I don’t say that as some Silicon Valley hype guy. I say it as someone who runs a business, coaches other business owners, and still tries to make time to walk the dog and eat dinner with my wife and daughter.

So, here’s what I’ve been seeing…

AI

In Business: AI is the Assistant You Can’t Afford Not to Hire

I’ve been using AI tools daily — not to replace people, but to help them work smarter. My VA uses it to draft emails, organize lead lists, create content outlines, and even summarize client notes. It’s like handing her a jetpack. She’s still steering the ship, but she’s moving way faster.

If you’re in real estate, coaching, content creation, marketing — hell, even landscaping — AI can help you:

  • Build systems

  • Automate follow-up

  • Write ad copy

  • Sort your inbox

  • Map out workflows

  • Analyze data

  • Get ideas flowing when your brain’s toast

And here’s the kicker: it never gets tired, it doesn’t complain, and it doesn’t need a lunch break.

AI

In Life: AI Helps You Win Back Time

Want meal ideas for the week that hit your protein goals? AI can help. Want a packing checklist for your next trip based on the weather and location? Done. Want to write a funny caption for a birthday post? Boom.

I’ve even used AI to come up with workout routines that factor in my shoulder recovery. You don’t need to be a tech wizard — you just need to be curious enough to type in a few sentences.

And for parents, business owners, or literally anyone feeling stretched thin, this isn’t just convenient — it’s survival.

But Here’s the Catch…

Most people won’t use it. Or they’ll use it once, get a generic response, and write it off.

AI works best when you know how to talk to it — when you treat it like a smart assistant who’s fast, but needs clear direction. You still have to think. You still have to lead. But now, you don’t have to do everything yourself.

AI

AI isn’t coming — it’s here. And the people who learn how to use it will outpace the people who don’t. Period.

So if you’ve been on the fence, start small:

Ask ChatGPT to help you write a social post.Try using AI to brainstorm your next client outreach email.Use it to help your kid study, plan a date night, or organize your week.

Don’t overthink it. Just start.

Because in 2025 and beyond, using AI isn’t cheating — it’s common sense.
